Once upon a time establishing a “secure” environment meant individual identification was checked manually, but those days are dwindling in favor of automated systems that rely on biometric credentials. Biometric identification has emerged as a stable, secure method of individual identification that offers higher security than traditional methods which include passwords, personal identification numbers (PINs), or identification cards.
